On September 30, The Ko family and Viva Pharmaceutical Inc generously donated $200,000 leading to a total commitment of $2,500,000 to the University of British Columbia’s Department of Urologic Science Research and Education Program.

Vancouver Sun columnist Malcolm Perry visited Viva Pharmaceutical Inc. for a feature on the Fairchild Group’s banquet-benefit for VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation, and an interview with Viva’s CEO Jason Ko took place. Viva Pharmaceutical showed their support of the Foundation by donating $1.2 million to fund a first-in-Canada demonstration project for the early detection and treatment of lung cancer using innovative screening strategy and advanced computer imaging.

On May 28, 2015, Minister Steven S.K.Chen, Minister of Overseas Community Affairs Council of ROC (Taiwan), visited Viva Pharmaceutical with the Consul General of ROC (Taiwan) in Vancouver, Mr. William Chuang alongside their delegates.  The delegation attended a presentation on Viva and toured our facilities during their visit.
